Paintings are inspired by the world of myths, I was always fascinated by the image of the nymphs that are constantly running, perceived as swarming, fleeting apparitions that chase or are being chased, observing us among the leaves, spying on us in the waters, dangerous yet fascinating figures.
The woods, the uncultivated forests and the waters are their places, their precincts:they do not live in the world of men, but in a separate world, where men, when they penetrate it, not always come out unscathed.
As traces of their passage remain metallic colored shimmering, the rustling of leaves and branches, murmurs of watersprings.
